a unique three-day luxury health and wellbeing retreat in a boutique hotel in Southern Tuscany with Charis Cooper yoga and Alteo concierge. Alteo specialises in bespoke luxury concierge and travel services. This collaboration allows for an experience like no other. Everything about this retreat has been carefully planned and curated down to the last detail to ensure that guests leave feeling fully relaxed, rejuvenated and inspired. The venue
Monteverdi is a rare boutique hotel overlooking the historic Val d’Orcia in the province of Siena, midway between Rome and Florence in southern Tuscany. It is the timeless Tuscany you dream about: Medieval hilltop village; no paved roads or sidewalks. Sweeping views of fields of gold and green, cypress trees and vineyards, Roman roads, watchtowers and walled cities.
Each day will start with an outdoor yoga and meditation class lead by Charis. The rejuvenating yoga practise is designed to get the body gradually moving, breath flowing and heart opening. Followed by a guided meditation to truly open the heart, and calm the mind, bringing your awareness into the present moment and allowing you to enjoy every moment of the day ahead. Each day will end with a relaxing and restorative yoga class followed by a second meditation to prepare you for a deep and nourishing sleep.

The food at this retreat is like no other. This is authentic Tuscan cuisine, overseen by Chef Giancarla, who has been a pioneer of the organic, slow-food movement. You will be offered an abundance of beautifully cooked, fresh organic ingredients and world-class wines - a true feast for the senses.

Enter a world of true tranquillity in the newly expanded Spa at Monteverdi, a warm, inviting oasis with breathtaking views stretching as far as Siena. Highly skilled aestheticians perform a wide range of facial and massage treatments designed to soothe, invigorate, purify, relax, and refresh the body, mind, and soul. The Spa at Monteverdi now features a luxurious underground heated pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside, as well as a sensory shower and cold plunge pool. All of which will be exclusive to retreat guests.

Villa Muri Antichi
Beautiful six-bedroom Villa Muri Antichi has been meticulously restored and designed using the finest local marble and wood. It features a riveting library, big beautiful wood-burning fireplaces, and spacious outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Val d’Orcia. A 50% deposit is required to secure your place on the retreat.
If you cancel your retreat within three weeks of departure, we are sorry but we cannot offer a refund. If you cancel between six weeks before departure and the three weeks prior to departure you are eligible for a refund of 50% of the full price.
If you cancel prior to six weeks before departure then you are eligible for a refund of 75%
However, as our retreats are often fully subscribed, if we can give your place to another customer who was on our waiting list, even within the 3 week period, we will endeavour to do so, and give you a full refund minus a £25 admin fee.

We suggest you take out travel insurance as soon as you book your retreat, which will cover you for cancellations, as we cannot waive our cancellation policy or be liable for loss of your holidayin the event that you are unable to travel to the retreat.

BOOKINGS:
There is no contract between Charis Cooper or Alteo and the client until full payment has been made. Full payment of the balance is to be made no later than 6 weeks before departure and ideally at the time of booking.
INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATIONS:
While we always try to treat cancellation sympathetically, we reserve the right to apply the following charges. Travel insurance to cover cancellation is a condition of booking.
